Polycaprolactone (PCL) is a widely used polymer in biomedical applications due to its excellent processability, ductility, and biodegradability. However, single-component PCL devices often fail meet the multifunctional high-performance demands of modern devices. In this study, we introduced biodegradable environmentally friendly cyclodextrin (CD) fabricate CD inclusion complexes with low-molecular-weight polycaprolactone (LPCL). These were incorporated into commercial prepare resulting composites. The effects molecular weight type on properties ratios systematically investigated. Among tested complexes, one formed LPCL (Mw = 8 × 104) α-CD exhibited highest ratio (2:1), significantly enhancing crystallization mechanical composite (PCL/8-α-CD). Compared pure PCL, PCL/8-α-CD shows 14.8% increase crystallinity, along improvements 63.6% 30.9% tensile strength elongation at break, respectively. results demonstrate that incorporation can effectively enhance performance making it promising candidate for applications.
