We aimed investigate the association between such NLR, MLR, PLR, NMR, LMR, MHR, SII, SIRI severity in patients SAP. Methods: This retrospective pilot study included 166 patients. All underwent CA or CCTA, both, assess CAD. Patients were divided three ways: (1) according presence (n = 146) absence 20) CAD; (2) Gensini score; (3) CAD-RADS score. Results: had lower higher SIRI, SII compared without (p < 0.001 p 0.018, respectively for SII). According by score, values increase LMR decreases gradually 0.001). A moderate correlation was found (r 0.511, 0.001), NLR 0.567, 0.474, 0.001) MLR a low corelation score 0.356, 0.001; r −0.355, 0.001, respectively). Background: Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) is a method that enables the hemodynamic assessment of coronary artery stenosis. The Systemic Inflammatory Response Index (SIRI) new marker calculated by multiplying neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) with monocyte count. It indicative presence and severity disease. This study evaluates relationship between functional significance FFR measurements SIRI in intermediate Methods: A total 294 patients 50–70% stenosis their arteries based on quantitative measurement following angiography who underwent were included before procedure. Total differential leukocyte counts routine biochemical tests performed. Results: 37% found to have positive FFR, while 63% had negative FFR. Significant differences observed neutrophil count, Inflammation (SIRI), cholesterol, amount adenosine used groups (p < 0.05). value 1.16 was 77% sensitive 55% specific for positivity. Abstract Background Ischemia with non-obstructive coronary arteries (INOCA) is a frequent syndrome important impact on morbimortality. Systemic inflammation, key pathophysiological mechanism in its development, reflected diverse bio-markers, such as the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), monocyte-to-lymphocyte (MLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR). In this retrospective observational study, we aimed to assess value of NLR, MLR PLR predictors all-cause long-term mortality INOCA patients. Abstract Background This study intends to examine any possible correlation between monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio (MLR) and cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Methods Data from the 1999–2020 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) in USA were analyzed. Heart attacks, angina pectoris, congestive heart failure (CHF), coronary disease (CHD), stroke all covered by CVD. The independent relationships these events MLR levels, as well other inflammatory indices (system inflammation response index (SIRI), aggregate of systemic (AISI), C-reactive protein-to-albumin (CAR)), investigated. Furthermore, interaction tests subgroup analysis performed. Diagnostic capacities also predicted compared using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Results Males made up 49.63% 46,289 people who recruited this study. prevalence CVD its follows: CHF at 2.99%, CHD 3.72%, pectoris 2.57%, attacks 3.94%, 3.48%, with itself 7.98%. positively correlated. Specifically, smooth curve fittings found a non-linear relationship Moreover, higher levels linked increased rates CHF, CHD, strokes. SIRI wa s have positive outperformed (SIRI, AISI, CAR) terms discriminative capacity accuracy predicting CVD, attack, stroke, according ROC analysis. Conclusions Compared indicators CAR), appears be better for stroke. American adults elevated should aware harm caused Causal inference is, however, limited cross-sectional design dependence on self-reported data. Further longitudinal studies are needed validate findings.

Background Neuroinflammation is linked to cognitive function. However, epidemiological research on two emerging inflammation markers—the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and the response (SIRI)—remains limited in context of performance. This study investigates relationship between SII, SIRI, performance older adults. Methods cross-sectional analysis included 2,194 participants from 2011–2014 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) who met eligibility criteria. Logistic regression, subgroup analysis, restricted cubic spline modeling were used assess associations markers, specifically SII SIRI. Results After adjusting for population weights, with low function had an 541.54 (95% CI: 360.00–796.50, p = 0.037) SIRI 1.28 0.82–2.18, 0.031). In fully adjusted models, higher levels both (OR 0.858, 95% 0.856–0.859) 0.891, 0.889–0.892) significantly associated lower odds normal function, indicating increased risk impairment. Neutrophil-related markers (NC, NLR, SIRI) exhibited strongest inverse associations. Subgroup showed more consistent across demographic behavioral factors, while displayed fewer. RCS indicated a stronger non-linear ( 0.005) compared 0.018) after full adjustment. Conclusion suggests positive association pronounced These findings highlight potential as novel, accessible marker predicting impairment risk.

This study investigated the complete blood count (CBC) indices, including neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), monocyte-to-lymphocyte (MLR), and platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR) in dogs with myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD) analyzed their correlation conventional biomarkers, as well effect of CBC indices on survival time MMVD. Medical records 75 healthy controls 249 MMVD from March 2015 to October 2022 were analyzed. The NLR, MLR, PLR calculated by dividing absolute counts parameters. Dogs had significantly higher than (all p < 0.0001), especially those symptomatic group pulmonary edema (p 0.0001, = 0.0002, 0.0387, respectively). NLR MLR correlated N-terminal pro-B type natriuretic peptide levels (both 0.0001). showed potential biomarkers for detecting presence 0.0001) severity 0.006, respectively) using receiver operating characteristic curve analysis. negative effects increased confirmed Kaplan-Meier In conclusion, could be cost-effective readily available diagnostic prognostic dogs.
