This study aims to explore the factors and challenges influencing Agricultural Extension Model Sites (AEMSs) in improving irrigated wheat production Iran. An exploratory survey was conducted investigate changes related pre-planting, planting, harvesting, post-harvesting activities by examining farmers who are members of AEMSs. The goal understand effects faced these sites agriculture. revealed that at model grouped into six categories: technical-structural, planning, political-motivational, financial credit, agronomic, cooperation coordination factors. These accounted for 68.55% variance AEMSs challenges. most significant included efficiency agricultural activities, increasing farmers' trust extension agents providing practical solutions enhance productivity. main implication is Institute Education Iran can objectively introduce best techniques accelerate adoption innovations agriculture creating expanding various products topics. offers new insights technology transfer models addresses a gap existing literature regarding as an Iranian initiative. particularly context international academic literature. investigates associated with (AEMS) approach, which has been designed implemented While similar utilized internationally, AEMS demonstrates superior ability persuade adopt optimal practices. paper presents evidence effectiveness models, enhancing productivity strategically important crop.

The agricultural sector contributes approximately 10–20% of the total anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHGs) emissions. Consequently, climate change can negatively affect crop yields and livestock production thus threatening food security, especially in a vulnerable continent like Africa. This review provides an overview climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices their impacts on smallholder farmers five African countries (Algeria, Senegal, Benin, Nigeria Zambia). A 164 published articles CSA were reviewed. Analysis extracted data showed that are classified as follows: practices, restoration degraded lands, forest cropland regeneration sub-sector, water resources use weather information services. Moreover, effects differed alongside strategies adapted from one country to another. Adoption these was often influenced by financial means put place governments, role policy legislation, access farmers’ intellectual level. To address this deficiency, scientific-outcome-based research should be used increase effectiveness adaptation management programs. In conclusion, enhance uptake Africa, recommends scientific-research-driven measures prioritization governments’ agendas.

As soil is the basis for agriculture, erosion one of major threats to food security in arid and semi-arid regions across world. Therefore, conservation an important step increase productivity ensure sustainability agriculture. To implement measures, farmers must voluntarily adopt behaviors. it may be understand psychological social factors that influence farmers' environmental sustainability. Thus, this study, cognitive theory (SCT) was used as a theoretical framework investigate influencing Iranian behaviors (SCBs). The results showed SCT successful area could explain 0.662 0.537 percent behavioral intentions (BI) SCBs, respectively. Moreover, two components self-efficacy (SE) outcome expectancies (OE) were strongest variables influenced SCBs. Overall, our provide new insights policymakers agricultural sector reduce erosion.

In recent years, biodiversity in Iran has been exposed to serious threats due the farmers' unordinary behaviors, including extensive use of chemicals, land-use changes, and destruction natural habitats. The basic concept present research is discover underlying constructs intention conserve at farm level. This adopts Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) uses its extended version, which moral norms environmental concerns have included, as theoretical framework. this study, data collection done by survey method through a questionnaire that analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling technique (SEM). target population consists all farmers from Bavi County Khuzestan province southwest Iran. findings indicated variables, attitude (γ: 0.164 Sig: 0.001), perceived behavioral control 0.136 subjective 0.278 0.292 0.192 significant positive effect on towards protection. addition, it was shown version TPB can improve capacity explain 22%. Drought is one of the most significant and complex climate risks, with profound effects on reducing agricultural production exacerbating poverty food insecurity worldwide in absence effective mitigation measures. Climate assessments indicate that drought will affect majority world regions future, agricultural-dependent communities bearing brunt its impacts. Therefore, managing measures to mitigate crucial this regard. This research aims (1) examine adoption status adaptation strategies (2) identify influential factors affecting Iran. The study population consisted all rural households Kerman Province (southeastern Iran). In order accurately select studied samples, calculation severity was done based Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI). research, an extended version Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), incorporating new variables including trust, self-efficacy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived risk, resistance use, performance expectancy, utilized as theoretical framework. Data analysis conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). results revealed farmers under conditions were categorized into five classes: Social activities (SA), Physical infrastructure management (PIM), Financial (FIM), Farm (FM), Irrigation water (IWM), Crop (CM). Furthermore, SEM indicated hypothesized relationships context significant, explained 58% variance adaptive behaviors. Lastly, considering trust had effect measures, policymakers field are recommended increase farmers' these by conducting thorough needs identifying strategies. Moreover, organizing appropriate workshops training courses can enhance awareness understanding for mitigating impacts drought.
