Abstract The relationship between the geological environment and human health is still not better understood. This study aims to evaluate degree of influence on suitability living environment. We established a new evaluation framework health. selects four core indicators related health: soil, water, landform, atmosphere. results showed that atmospheric water resource were generally good, scores landforms differed due topography. result soil pollution elements did exceed national standard, value beneficial element Se greatly exceeded local background value. Our research highlights factors affecting health, explores resources serve finally proposes planning strategies harmful risks improve factors.

Urban flooding has emerged as a significant urban issue in cities worldwide, with China being particularly affected. To effectively manage and mitigate floods, holistic examination of the interaction between subsystems is required to improve flood resilience. However, interactions mechanisms under disaster haven't been addressed adequately previous studies. Therefore, this paper established conceptual framework for illustrating natural-ecological social-economic subsystem considering pressure, state, response within cycle. The objective investigate coupling coordination degree (CCD) these identify driving factors geographical detector model, Yangtze River Delta are selected an empirical example. findings reveal overall upward trend towards whole area notable variability among cities. resilience state dimension emerges crucial aspect determining CCD area. Key coordinated development identified air pollution, global warming, technological innovation, governance power, financial strength, urbanization. Based on factors, presents potential implications that can serve effective guidance offer insights policymakers, planners, researchers their efforts enhance sustainable future.

Historical news media reports serve as a vital data source for understanding the risk of urban ground collapse (UGC) events. At present, application large language models (LLMs) offers unprecedented opportunities to effectively extract UGC events and their spatiotemporal information from vast amount data. Therefore, this study proposes an LLM-based inventory construction framework consisting three steps: crawling, event recognition, attribute extraction. Focusing on Zhejiang province, China, test region, total 27 cases 637 were collected 11 prefecture-level cities. The method achieved recall rate over 60% precision below 35%, indicating its potential automatically screening events; however, accuracy needs be improved account confusion with other events, such bridge collapses. obtained is first open access based internet reports, dates locations, co-ordinates derived unstructured contents. Furthermore, provides insights into spatial pattern frequency in supplementing statistical provided by local government.

With the rapid development of urbanization in China, urban waterlogging has become a significant problem constructing safety human environment. As an essential manifestation modernization governance system and capacity, city physical examination establishes multi-criteria evaluation for diagnosis, rectification, improvement. In order to accurately identify risk waterlogging, concept special was established, mechanism indicator definition were improved on basis “four-factor method” flooding disaster assessment. From perspective basin flood control background disaster-bearing conditions, “Major-Minor-Micro” drainage crucial locations personnel protection, emergency management twenty-four indicators five categories selected. The interaction between multiple factors is considered establish as characteristic with goal resilience. results study could provide theoretical technical support diagnosis problems formulation prevention strategies.

The analysis of temporal and spatial variability in risk has garnered significant research attention, particularly regarding flash flood disasters the context warming wetting conditions on Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau. Focusing Lhasa River basin, this study develops a framework that integrates geographic information systems combined subjective–objective weighting approach to comprehensively assess despite limited observations. This paper investigates distribution patterns hazard, vulnerability, integrated pluvial floods; demonstrates reliability assessment results; provides mitigation recommendations for disaster management at county level. results showed trend increasing recent decades compared 1990s. Moreover, very-high- high-risk areas were concentrated downstream regions with frequent precipitation extremes anthropogenic activity. From 1991 2020, high very gradually expanded from central neighbouring counties. contributes valuable insights into cand mapping, which are crucial terms protection life property plateau basin.
