Bangladesh's Haor regions are famous for their natural resources and unable to escape climate vulnerability. Triggered by vulnerabilities farmers heading towards climate-resilient approaches. Hence, research was done in the haor area of Sunamganj district analyze status adopted Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) techniques Chhatak, Sunamganj, Jagannathpur which prone severe flooding conditions. Around 450 were randomly selected CSA adopters contacted. A structured questionnaire prepared with open-ended closed-ended questions. The final contained demographic questions a list cropland homestead practices, survey proceeded 115 finalized adopters. Abstract Forest conservation and restoration are key components of ecological engineering. Previous studies often focused on the forest impact vegetation greening, ignoring importance conservation, link between remains unclear. Based land use data, cover loss Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer Leaf Area Index, in this study, we explored spatial pattern from 2000 to 2020, quantitatively calculated contribution greening. The results showed that area was 821,888 km 2 , 100,266 South China karst. with greenness increasing were 358,236 54,397 respectively, which contributed 39.85% 6.05% Moreover, there a nonlinear relationship restoration, an inverted U‐shape most provinces. This study evaluated engineering perspective could provide scientific basis for differentiated planning.

Rainfall, temperature, and reference evapotranspiration (ET0) have a significant influence on irrigation, aridity, flooding, crop water requirements. The primary aims of this study were to analyze the trends in rainfall, ET0 seven sub-climatic zones Bangladesh from 1989 2020, as well examine their interrelationships. Modified Mann-Kendall method was employed assess trends, while linear regression used for trend validation. calculated using FAO-56 Penman-Monteith method, Sen's slope utilized quantify magnitude. Spatial analysis conducted Inverse Distance Weighting techniques. findings revealed that annual rainfall increased only south-eastern zone, other experienced decline. No changes observed maximum except south-eastern, north-eastern, south-central zones, which showed variations ranging 0.02 0.05 (°C/year). However, yearly minimum temperature all zones. Additionally, negative magnitude seasons, north-eastern with range 0.01–0.02 mm/year. It also noted displayed strong decreasing relationship, during pre-monsoon season. Regarding regional variation, northern regions exhibited both ET0. identified key challenges, including scarcity irrigation difficulties due declining evapotranspiration, changing flood patterns, temperature-related impacts growth, disparities climate need effective change adaptation measures. Therefore, study's can contribute knowledge areas such scheduling, promoting climate-smart agricultural practices, encouraging diversification reduce dependence water-intensive crops cultivation, planning resilient resource management minimize effects environmental shifts, regulate human operations, implement disaster remedial actions Bangladesh.

Objective: This research examines the influence of informal education on livelihood and income economically marginalized populations in Sri Lanka, with a specific focus its role fostering resilience duri ng economic crises. Theoretical Framework: Anchored theoretical constructs human capital development, labor market dynamics, socio-economic marginalization, study utilizes concepts "sinking" "floating" to investigate disparities adaptive capacity resilience. Method: The employs mixed-method ethnographic approach, integrating qualitative insights from participant observations semi-structured interviews quantitative data derived surveys. Data were collected 105 participants urban low-income communities Colombo Gampaha districts, focusing their educational attainment, levels, practices, skill proficiencies. Results Discussion: findings reveal that significantly enhances populations. Key outcomes include improved numerical literacy, language proficiency, experiential learning, which are critical for navigating complexities. Notably, systematic training correlates better among floating group, while deficiencies learning opportunities perpetuate vulnerabilities within sinking group. Research Implications: provides actionable policymakers, emphasizing importance implementing inclusive initiatives tailored realities Addressing systemic barriers such as gender aligning requirements promoting equitable development. Originality/Value: By elucidating mitigating vulnerabilities, this contributes nuanced understanding potential support development underprivileged contexts. advance academic discourse intersection education, income, settings.
