Concerned by the continuous decline in quality of life, poverty, environmental degradation, and escalated war conflicts, United Nations 2015 instituted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 169 targets. Access to clean, modern, affordable energy, also known as SDG 7, is one goals. Universal access electricity metrics for measuring a good life it fundamentally affects education, healthcare, food security, job creation, other socioeconomic indices. To achieve this goal targets, there has been increased traction research, development, actionable plans, policies, activities governments, scientific community, environmentalists, development experts, stakeholders achieving goal. This review presents various avenues which AI digitization can provide impetus 7. Abstract A novel Adaptive Predictive Virtual Synchronous Generator (AP-VSG) control strategy is proposed for enhanced grid stability and seamless renewable energy integration. The method introduces adaptive inertia damping mechanisms combined with multi-objective predictive optimization, specifically designed parallel-connected Self-Excited Induction Generators (SEIGs). Unlike conventional approaches requiring multiple DC conversion stages, the system implements parallel operation directly in AC domain, reducing complexity losses. AP-VSG incorporates a real-time adaptation of virtual (H) ranging from 1 to 4 s coefficient (D) 20 65 pu, responding frequency deviations Rate Change Frequency (RoCoF). Experimental validation 2.2 kW 5.5 SEIGs demonstrates 56% reduction maximum RoCoF (from ± 0.48 Hz/s 0.21 Hz/s), 33% improvement nadir (50.85–50.87 Hz), 41% enhancement ratio. Under fault conditions, maintains current limit 1.5 pu while providing reactive support up 0.8 pu. optimization framework achieves 36.7% effort maintaining margins (PM $$>45^{\circ }$$ , GM>6 dB). Statistical analysis confirms 95th percentile regulation 43.5% compared VSG control. ride-through capability voltage recovery within 100 ms THD maintained below 3%. results verify robust performance under various disturbances, including sags down 0.2 complete disconnection scenarios.
