Although recent research on both agency and social justice has paid attention to the role of these constructs in teachers’ professionalism, scope how language intersect is limited. Drawing an ecological perspective that captured temporal spatial perceptions, structural forces shape teacher agency, we explored among Iranian English teachers. Data were collected from open-ended questionnaires, narrative frames, semi-structured interviews. The analysis data revealed teachers used their personal histories experiences, present sense-making processes, future-oriented perspectives as agentive tools promote educational practices. findings also showed affordances setting a tool for fostering students’ criticality activism. study concludes with discussion implications educators build education courses develop understandings justice.
