Abstract The Bromo Tengger Volcano in Indonesia, a prominent geotourism spot, features the notable Widodaren Spring within its caldera, originating from inactive Vulcanic Cone. This study evaluated geodiversity of through field and laboratory analyses identified elements by assessing their potential educational utility (PEU), touristic (PTU), degradation risk (DR). is unique, showcasing rocks, hydrogeology, landscape elements. location composed pyroclastic fall deposits surges, which characterize products volcanic activity on this volcano provide Sea Sand Caldera landscape. Field data indicate that spring genetically topographic-stratigraphic hydrochemically calcium-chloride-type. high levels sulfate-chloride groundwater samples suggest influence gases nearby Volcanic Rainwater infiltration at upper cone (2400-2560 meters) flows lapilli layers serving as aquifers, with tuff below being impermeable to semi-permeable. Geodiversity assessments revealed (PEU) 310 points, medium tourist (PTU) 260 low (DR) 135 points. PEU score was attributed site’s unique geological elements, making it valuable for education science. PTU reflects national park, limiting accessibility but protecting human-caused damage. Potential natural damage may arise weathering eruptions Mount Bromo. In conclusion, possesses significant value great tourism, alongside minimal degradation. site treasure trove future Bromo-Tengger geopark.

The geoheritage present on the “Tindari Cape and Marinello Lakes” site (TCML, Messina Province, NE Sicily, Italy) drew our attention due to acquired contrasting information. Indeed, TCML was classified in geosite national catalogue as a (albeit under non-evaluated status with regional scientific interest), whereas it of attention. coastal included this analyzed by means literature review, field work, sedimentological petrographic investigation. Moreover, reconstruction historical modern evolution lagoon spit’s shapes carried out across time span 85 years. investigation results were used for inventorying quantitative assessment Brilha method. primary preeminent interest geomorphological, spit being an active geomorphosite. This system showed elements rarity, representativeness, exemplariness. Secondary-type structural, palaeontological aspects also evidenced geological found cliffs Tindari Cape. For geodiversity, value (SV), potential educational use (PEU), touristic (PTU), degradation risk (DR) evaluated. obtained weighted scores 320 250 290 285 (DR). high SV suggested that TCML, its could be geosite. Notwithstanding, moderate PEU, PTU, DR (fragility vulnerability depending natural climate anthropogenic factors) values indicated not fully compatible purposes. provide data are useful establishing global geosite, placing catalog geosites.

The geoconservation policies assumed by the Sicilian Region (Italy) induced to classify as geosites all geodiversity preserved in natural reserves. In particular, two of these present oriented reserve coastal lagoon Cape Peloro (Messina, NE Sicily, Italy), denoted “Morpho–tectonic system Peloro–Lake Faro” and Ganzirri”, were considered Global areal on base their tectonic origin. Lacking an official scientific report sites, research was aimed investigate lagoon, order provide (i) geological structural framework, (ii) inventory, (iii) quantitative assessment geodiversity. study resulted be originated during post–Wurmian sea–level rise strong extensional tectonics affecting Calabria–Peloritani Arc still active. Indeed, depression hosting Lakes Faro Ganzirri, developed low-relief coasts because different systems capable faults, NW–SE Lake ENE–WSW Ganzirri. indicated high scores for value potential educational touristic uses. On basis results, it possible confirm attribution Faro’s Ganzirri’s geosites, being morpho-structures key localities, providing indicators representativeness, diversity, rarity that ought protected clear unequivocal examples Earth’s history evolution Quaternary lagoons. Actual criticisms could irreversibly affect environmental equilibria have been evidenced. Possible actions redevelopment extension also described.

Foreign medical personnel are needed to overcome the challenges of a shortage personnel. However, current issue lies in ineffective regulations governing foreign Indonesia, which hinder country's ability enhance its health services. This research aims conduct comparative study with Singapore, has superior services, examine use improving quality services Indonesia. uses normative juridical research, employing conceptual, statutory, and approach. The results show that, first, utilization Indonesia not been able improve due weaknesses legal structure supervision licensing process, substance that do yet provide protection condition Indonesian people who such medical. Second, Singapore government's mechanism for utilizing is easy successful. strategically meet healthcare needs. In addition, have several rights, including basic salary monthly allowances, insurance, income tax, deducted from their pay.
