Understanding and characterizing the relationship between soil environmental temperatures is crucial for developing effective agricultural management strategies, promoting natural resource conservation, sustainable production systems. Despite direct impact of thermal properties Oxisols on global food agriculture, there a dearth research in this area. Therefore, study aimed to monitor analyze behavior Red Latosol (Oxisol) Dracena-SP, Brazil, over two years (from 28 July 2020 27 2022). Using R software (version 4.3.0) paired group comparisons, we organized data into twelve-month sets estimate monthly diffusivity using amplitude, arctangent, logarithm methods. Soil depth amplitude showed temporal pattern characterized by inversely proportional magnitudes that followed an exponential behavior. The Oxisol evaluated decreased with increasing depth, indicating damping. In conclusion, temperature has significant implications achieving agriculture efficient water plant management.

Abstract Borehole thermal energy storage (BTES) is an innovative renewable technology for building heating and cooling. The lack of studies about BTES in unsaturated soils acts as a barrier to further implementation. In this study, the research obstacles, progress, hotspots, differences between countries systems were described detail based on literature review, bibliometric analysis, roadmap, data visualizations. results show that process coupled heat moisture transfer has been hotspot recent years, thermo‐hydraulic properties increase complexity analysis. There are few experimental engineering practices soils. China leading publications number, but European North American perform better international cooperation policy incentives. Soil thermal conductivity in the near-phase-transition zone is a key parameter affecting stability of permafrost engineering and its catastrophic processes. Therefore, accurately determining soil this specific temperature has important theoretical significance. In present work, method for testing fine sandy was proposed by measuring with transient plane heat source volumetric capacity weighing unfrozen water contents. The content sand specimens tested, corresponding empirical fitting formula established. Finally, based on results, variation trends influence laws were analyzed, prediction models multiple regression (MR) radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) also results show following: (1) average error test work reference steady-state flow only 7.25%, which validates reliability method. (2) contents range 0~−3 °C accounts over 80% entire negative range. curves exhibit similar trend, can be divided into drastic phase transition stable zone. (3) Increases mainly occur zone, where these increases account about 60% total increase region. With density content, rate gradually decreases. (4) R2, MAE, RSME RBFNN model are 0.991, 0.011, 0.021, respectively, better than those MR model.
