The addition of a metal skeleton significantly improves the heat storage/release rate composite phase‐change materials (PCMs), taking as critical factor in extending their application potential. When numerical simulation with conventional thermal equilibrium model is used for high computational efficiency, its applicability constrained scenarios requiring precise characterization transfer. To improve accuracy, concept contact resistance, which refers to transfer resistance between two adjacent objects, introduced construct local nonequilibrium (LTNE) article. A V‐shaped nonuniform proposed by combining several single‐directional gradient units. comparison experimental results shows that improved LTNE achieves higher optimal agreement at 2.5 × 10 −4 m 2 K W −1 . average relative error total melting time data reduced from 16.67% 2.00%, compared model. superior uniform reduction 29.41% time. This study provides an effective way establish accurate process PCMs.
