Purpose We investigate how green transformational leadership (GTL) influences innovative service behavior (GISB), particularly in the hospitality sector, which faces significant environmental challenges. Drawing from social identity theory (SIT), we introduce organizational (GOI) as a mediating mechanism through GTL fosters GISB. Furthermore, propose moderated mediation model whereby knowledge-sharing climate (GKSC) serves first-stage moderator to further understand and when GISB GOI. Design/methodology/approach employed multi-study design (i.e. two independent studies across China) test hypothesized relationships. ABSTRACT As the global urgency for environmental sustainability intensifies, leadership plays a pivotal role in shaping eco‐friendly behaviors within organizations and beyond. This study examines of green inclusive (GIL) fostering pro‐environmental hospitality industry, utilizing ability, motivation, opportunity (AMO) theory as conceptual framework to explain how GIL influences sustainable behaviors.
