Purpose With growing concern over data security issues, this study aims to explore the role of corporate digital responsibility (CDR) practices on employees’ emotional and behavioral responses in context hotel industry. Design/methodology/approach A total 386 were collected through an online, self-administered survey recruiting hospitality employees using Prolific. Partial least square structural equation modeling was used with SmartPLS. Findings Economic, ethical philanthropic CDR positively influenced satisfaction a CDR-implementing hotel. The positive effects economic organizational pride found. However, legal had no impact pride. Employees’ lead employee well-being advocacy behaviors. Practical implications Extending application cognitive appraisal theory CDR, results provide suggestions managers creating ethically practiced culture responding economy.
