With the increasing severity of environmental problems and energy scarcity, fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), as a sustainable efficient means transportation, are attracting more attention. The ageing cells (FCs) has become an urgent problem with development FCEV. In order to prolong lifetime FCs, this paper builds model vehicle driven by two power sources, FC lithium battery (Lib) using AVL Cruise. A rule-based management strategy (EMS) is developed in Simulink explore optimal control for terms durability FC. An used quantify degradation voltage different duty cycles. results show that engagement levels, OCV operations, start/stop operations can affect significantly. By optimising EMS, improved 9.47%.

In the context of intelligent and connected transportation, obtaining real-time vehicle status comprehensive traffic data is crucial for addressing challenges related to speed optimization energy regulation in intricate transportation situations. This paper introduces a control method management fuel cell hybrid bus (FCHB) based on Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) algorithm. The strategy framework built dual-objective deep reinforcement learning (D-DRL) architecture, which integrates signal information into framework, addition conventional state spaces guide decisions. aim achieve “green wave” while minimizing hydrogen consumption. To validate effectiveness proposed strategy, simulation tests were conducted using SUMO platform. results show that terms planning, difference between maximum minimum speeds FCHB was reduced by 21.66% compared with traditional Intelligent Driver Model (IDM), acceleration its variation 8.89% 13.21%, respectively. efficiency, achieved 95.71% performance level dynamic programming (DP) solution this great significance improving passenger comfort economy.
