Abstract An innovative palladium‐doped zinc cobalt oxide nanoelectrocatalyst, ZnPd x Co 2‐x O 4 (0.00 ≤ 0.08)@NF, is successfully synthesized using a hydrothermal method. The resulting material exhibits spinel phase, as confirmed by X‐ray diffraction (XRD). electrocatalytic performance of 0.08)@NF evaluated for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). results show significant improvements in efficient production, with an overpotential 31 mV, Tafel slope 54.36 mV dec⁻ 1 , and sustained stability over 72 h, chronopotentiometry methods. Doping 8.0% Pd concentration enhances highest electrochemical supporting idea that doping improves HER activity. suggest increased active surface area (ECSA) faster charge transfer kinetics at interface between semiconductor electrolyte contribute to enhanced performance. DFT calculations performed this work confirm role improving catalytic activity ZnCo 2 catalyst. Overall, study has made contribution development sustainable energy solutions, offering promising path toward production fuel.
