This study investigates a novel pressurized cabin system for open-cathode proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells to enhance energy efficiency and performance. The urgency of this lies in the increase uniformity index (UI) decrease pressure loss, which are crucial parameters air supply system. It optimizes cabin’s 3D geometry using Taguchi method, achieving 3.68% UI 7.69% reduction drop. A 1D mathematical model developed control demonstrates superior compared conventional systems. Experimental results validate these findings, showing around an 8% consumption 9.4% improvement power output. These indicate that design offers substantial performance benefits, making it valuable contribution energy-efficient cell technology.
