COVID-19 was responsible for more than 7 million deaths globally, as well numerous morbidities and social economic effects. While vaccines were seen a marvel of science by the scientific community, much public had concerns related to vaccines, with certain groups—such pregnant lactating women—having specific vaccine effects on their pregnancy breast milk. In this qualitative study, we interviewed stakeholders in Bangladesh ( n = 26) Kenya 94) who affect decision-making process acceptance among women. These included women themselves, community gatekeepers or family members, healthcare workers, policymakers. Several themes confidence preference emerged. Abstract Background Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is the world's leading cause of viral acute lower respiratory infections (ALRI) in infants. WHO has identified maternal RSV vaccination a priority and candidate vaccines are development; however, vaccine hesitancy remains an impediment to successful implementation immunization. This study, largest antenatal survey conducted to‐date, aimed examine awareness, likely acceptance pregnancy, attitudes vaccination.
