ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, has gained considerable attention as transformative yet controversial tool for enhancing teaching and learning experiences. Several reviews numerous articles have been written about harnessing ChatGPT in education since its release on November 30, 2022. Besides summarising strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) identified previous systematic of research, this review aims to develop new understanding influence student engagement by synthesising the existing related research using three-dimensional framework comprising behavioural, emotional, cognitive aspects. We searched relevant databases included 72 empirical studies published within one year ChatGPT's initial release. The findings reveal robust but narrowly focused evidence behavioural (i.e., work with ChatGPT) disengagement academic dishonesty). emotional aspect is mixed, instances both (e.g., satisfaction interest/fun) disappointment worry/anxiety). There broad weak regarding increased positive self-perception) reduced critical thinking overreliance). Our uncovers several under-explored indicators engagement, pointing need further research. Specifically, future could focus students' study habits attendance (behavioural engagement), social interaction (emotional self-regulation (cognitive engagement) ChatGPT-supported environments.

The study aims to explore the factors that influence university students' behavioral intention (BI) and use behavior (UB) of generative AI products from an ethical perspective. Referring decision-making theory, research model extends UTAUT2 with three influencing factors: awareness (EA), perceived risks (PER), anxiety (AIEA). A sample 226 students was analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling technique (PLS-SEM). results further validate effectiveness UTAUT2. Furthermore, performance expectancy, hedonistic motivation, price value, social all positively BI products, except for effort expectancy. Facilitating conditions habit show no significant impact on BI, but they can determine UB. extended perspective play roles as well. AIEA PER are not key determinants BI. However, directly inhibit From mediation analysis, although do have a direct UB, it inhibits UB indirectly through AIEA. Ethical Nevertheless, also increase PER. These findings help better accept ethically products.

This article presents an extensive Generative AI Technology Adoption Model intended to elucidate the complex process that entrepreneurs and other innovation ecosystem actors, for instance, libraries, go through its adoption. The model suggests adoption happens in three stages: Pre-Perception & Perception, Assessment, Outcome. During Perception Phase, initiate their technology exploration by navigating social factors, domain experience, technological familiarity, system quality, training support, interaction convenience, anthropomorphism; with utilitarian value hedonic values playing important role. As they transition Assessment Stage, perceived usefulness, ease of use, a novel addition, enjoyment, shape evaluations, leading generations emotions toward it, overweighting values. finishes Outcome where developed Stage become tangible intentions switch (use or human services). highlights factors (also called latent variables) relationships grounded on researcher's professional experiences need be further empirically validated. Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) has been integrated into higher education (HE), offering numerous benefits and transforming teaching learning. Since its launch, ChatGPT become the most popular learning model among Generation Z college students in HE. This study aimed to assess knowledge, concerns, attitudes, ethics of using HE Peru. An online survey was administered 201 with prior experience for academic activities. Two six proposed hypotheses were confirmed: Perceived Ethics (B = 0.856) Student Concerns 0.802). The findings suggest that students’ knowledge positive attitudes toward do not guarantee effective adoption use. It is important investigate how optimism, skepticism, or apathy AI develop these influence intention use technologies such as settings. dependence on raises ethical concerns must be addressed responsible programs No sex age differences found relationship between ChatGPTs perceived students. However, further studies diverse samples are needed determine this relationship. To promote HE, institutions comprehensive training programs, guidelines, policies address issues integrity, privacy, misinformation.
