School-based agricultural educators play a critical role in building students’ entrepreneurial and employability competencies by shaping learning experiences supervising entrepreneurship projects. However, many do not receive formal preparation during their training. This ex post facto quantitative study investigates agriculture educators’ perceived competencies, including differences between male female teachers, regarding the importance of role. A total 301 Missouri responded to survey. Despite limited education, most agreed they possessed 11 12 assessed competencies. The top four were independence, leadership skills, opportunity assessment, resilience, while social networking received lowest score. These data raise questions about possible relationship needed educators, what extent teaching attracts or develops Researchers recommend investigating autonomous components education may contribute developing propose incorporating training teacher programs professional development, emphasizing skills promote capital networks for information sharing, increasing visibility career growth.
