Abstract: The rapid development of generative AI is transforming university information literacy education by reshaping how students access and process information. This study systematically reviews 49 research papers published between 2020 2024, using the PRISMA framework thematic analysis to explore applications, impacts, pedagogical changes associated with in field education. Framing AI in higher education: a critical discourse analysis of inclusivity and power in university AI guidance documents DOI

Abstract The language of artificial intelligence (AI) guidance documents in higher education (HE) institutions reflects broader societal dynamics and raises important questions about inclusivity accessibility. This study investigates how selective (Russell Group) less UK universities craft their student-facing AI documentation, focusing on the discourses embedded within these documents. Using critical discourse analysis (CDA), from six (three top intergenerational mobility rankings three highly bottom) are analysed to explore differences language, style, content, framing agency responsibility. Findings reveal that often adopt hierarchical, authoritarian emphasises individual student accountability for proper use tools.
