With continuous improvements in the social economy and living standards of individuals, vibration comfort building structures has gradually been emphasized by academic engineering communities, such as vehicle-induced vibrations buildings near traffic, human-induced large-span structures, wind-induced super-high-rise buildings, machinery-induced structural vibrations. Comfort-based analysis is distinct from traditional safety-based analysis, its theoretical systems unified guidelines have not yet established. This paper reviews recent research on comfort, including major load categories their impacts, comfort-based evaluation methods, vibration-mitigation measures. By presenting shortcomings existing research, potential topics for future study are suggested.

Abstract With the rapid development of heavy haul railway transportation technology, tunnel foundation defects and their effects on structural performance have attracted wide attention. This paper systematically investigates evolution mechanism in tunnels impact stiffness degradation through experiments numerical simulations. A train–ballasted track–tunnel basement–surround rock dynamic interaction model (TTTR model) is constructed. Firstly, study reveals four-stage process initial basement under complex environmental conditions. Experiments were conducted to measure load-bearing capacity structure different defect states. It found that defects, especially coupling loose fill with water-rich environment surrounding rock, significantly reduce bottom increase risk damage. Then, based refined simulation wheel–rail multi-scale coupled modeling TTTR was successfully constructed, its validity proven validation. time-varying technique constrained boundary substructures (CBS technique) adopted, improving computational efficiency while ensuring calculation accuracy. The lateral stiffness and damping of rail pads significantly influence train performance on curves, yet their effects are not well understood. This study investigates the dynamics three pad structures: groove (GRP), mesh-type (MTRP), with high (MTHDRP), impact curve performance. Results from loading tests indicate that MTHDRP exhibit highest static stiffness, dynamic ratio, while GRP have lowest, highlighting significant disparities. Finite element analysis reveals substantial deformations in under loads, leading to increased stress levels. Strategies increase across these types involve structural parameter adjustment integration harder materials, detailed further conclusions. Multibody simulations suggest decreasing increasing only increases safety curves but also reduces track system vibration. Under varying conditions speed, radius, slope, superelevation, consistently demonstrates favorable performance, underscoring importance design, manufacturing, testing, optimize vehicle curves.

Currently, the primary methods for reducing noise of piston pumps are to optimize shell structure pump and increase damping. However, with a change in frequency pump, these cannot control reduction real-time, leading development existing engineering applications. In this study, vibration method piezoelectric phononic crystals (PPCs) plate laid on is proposed. First, dynamic model crystal (PPC) was established, new PPCs designed.
