In this paper, the growth rate of crack opening displacement (COD) in ceramic-matrix composites (CMCs) was investigated using micromechanical approach. Two damage states interface partial and complete debonding were considered determining CODs considering synergistic effects fiber bridging broken. Experimental SiC/SiC minicomposites with low high contents predicted developed model. Effects composite constitutive properties, e.g., volume fraction, properties fibers state (i.e., matrix spacing) on internal damages (e.g., ratio failure probability) discussed.
