This study investigates the synthesis and properties of innovative poly(oligo(alkylene glycol)) methacrylate hydrogels synthesized via gamma radiation-induced copolymerization crosslinking oligo(ethylene glycol) (OEGMA) oligo(propylene (OPGMA) at varying mole fractions. Our primary objective is to investigate impact on swelling P(OEGMA/OPGMA) compared their homopolymeric counterparts, namely, POEGMA POPGMA, which exhibit distinct volume phase transition temperatures (VPTTs) around 70 13 °C, respectively, under physiological conditions. To this end, a comprehensive library smart methacrylate-based hydrogel biomaterials was developed, featuring detailed data behavior across different copolymer molar ratios temperature ranges. achieve these objectives, we conducted analysis wide range temperatures, assessed pH sensitivity hydrogels, utilized scanning electron microscopy for morphological characterization, performed in vitro biocompatibility assessment through cell viability hemolysis assays, employed diclofenac sodium as model drug control delivery testing. findings demonstrate that newly P(OEGMA40/OPGMA60) copolymeric exhibits desirable characteristics, with VPTT close required controlled applications.
