Compact heat exchangers (CHE) improve the transfer rate with lighter weight and lower volume than other counterparts. An important point in CHEs is their higher pressure drop relative to conventional exchangers. This study aims investigate some proposed models of these with/without vortex generators (VGs) different cases. A hot fluid temperature 350°C flowing through tubes a cold 300°C circulating inside shell are assumed.
