Inflammasomes
are
intracellular
multiprotein
complexes
that
activate
inflammatory
signaling
pathways.
comprise
two
major
classes:
canonical
inflammasomes,
which
were
discovered
first
and
activated
in
response
to
a
variety
of
pathogen-associated
molecular
patterns
(PAMPs)
danger-associated
(DAMPs),
non-canonical
recently
only
lipopolysaccharide
(LPS).
Although
larger
number
studies
have
successfully
demonstrated
particularly
the
NLRP3
inflammasome,

rheumatic
diseases,
including
rheumatoid
arthritis

review

research
on

diseases,

targeting
treatments.
