Combined Hydrothermal Pretreatment of Agricultural and Forestry Wastes to Enhance Anaerobic Digestion for Methane Production DOI

The high reserves and significant differences in properties of agricultural forestry wastes make it difficult to achieve methane anaerobic conversion. This study employed hydrothermal pretreatment (HTP) combined (CHTP) enhance the digestion (AD) performance organic wastes. At a specific condition 140℃ for 30 mins, cumulative production garden waste (GW), chicken manure (CM), duck (DM), pig (PM) increased by 14.70%, 14.18%, 27.48%, 21.81%, respectively. Under same conditions, CHTP with livestock poultry manures showed noticeable synergistic effects, resulting potential mixed manure, 28.82%, 36.59%, 37.56%, respectively, compared untreated group. Metabolomic analysis that could significantly promote decomposition biomass carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, leading levels small molecular metabolites. Analysis microbial community diversity HTP increase abundance functional communities, such as hydrolysis bacteria methanogens, thereby promoting from waste. provides new technology theoretical support resource utilization energy conversion
