This study evaluates the effectiveness of Actinomycetes in encapsulating soybean seeds to control damping-off disease caused by Sclerotium rolfsii. With national demand reaching 22 million tons per year and domestic production only 1 tons, increasing is essential. One major constraint attack plant pathogens such as S. rolfsii, which can cause significant losses. were isolated from rhizosphere weeds tested for their antagonistic activity vitro. Seed encapsulation using various carriers (kaolin, talc, zeolite) was conducted determine most effective formula. In vivo tests showed that isolate PM2 exhibited best activity, with zeolite formulation reducing pre-emergence incidence 12.50% post-emergence 8.25%, compared positive control. These results indicate use seed an sustainable method controlling disease. Zeolite a carrier proved provide supportive environment microbes, maintaining moisture supplying necessary nutrients. research reveals great potential biocontrol agent management strategies, significantly enhance support food security.

Gum Arabic, known for its natural, biodegradable, and non-toxic attributes, holds significant promise in encapsulation. Despite the limited capacity of natural form to create particles or fibers, this study aimed produce nanocapsules through co-axial electrospraying, employing a solution Arabic/poly(vinyl alcohol) shell Irgasan core. Additionally, process parameters during electrospraying have been optimized.
