Metal and metal oxide nanoparticles are gaining traction in inorganic catalysis photocatalysis, driving the development of eco-friendly methods. This study introduces an cost-effective approach for synthesizing Al2O3 (NPs) using extracts derived from leaves Calligonum comosum L. The primary objective this investigation is to assess photocatalytic efficacy synthesized catalyst addressing organic pollutants. NPs exhibit a spherical morphology with crystalline arrangements, as evidenced by average crystallite size 25.1 nm XRD analysis. band gap energy determined be 2.86 eV. Abstract The study compares TiO 2 NPs synthesized via conventional chemical methods using Titanium Tetra Isopropoxide (TTIP) precursor versus an eco-friendly green synthesis approach Moringa oleifera seed (MOS) extracts. Two standard fabrication routes-sol-gel and hydrothermal were employed for both (CS) (GS) processes. as-formed nanoparticles from all four conditions (CS-sol gel, CS-hydrothermal, GS-sol GS-hydrothermal) exhibited a spherical shape pure rutile crystal structure with slight variations in mean diameter based on the technique. Optical absorptions showed bandgap energies ranging 3.14–3.28 eV 2.24–2.59 CS- GS-TiO systems respectively. lower energy of suggests higher visible light absorption, confirmed through diffuse reflectance spectroscopy where had base absorbance levels. as catalysts methylene blue (MB) dye degradation under UV sunlight irradiation. Intriguingly, results indicated that MB irradiation demonstrated superior efficiency compared to In conclusion, green-synthesized showcased excellent optical properties enhanced photocatalytic performance dye, approaching 64 %.
