Abstract BACKGROUND A straightforward and robust technique to develop a heterogeneous Fenton‐like catalyst is demonstrated, involving the incorporation of iron oxides into zeolite X derived from rice husk ash, which improved removal efficiency for crystal violet (CV) with high dye concentration. RESULTS The synthesis an oxides/zeolite composite (IOZX) was investigated at room temperature salt ratio 10 wt%, ion exchange time 5 h 15% NaOH. With surface area 312 m 2 g −1 , obtained IOZX also comprised SiO (40.96%), Al O 3 (32.08%), Na (24.07%) Fe (2.72%). Besides, uniform distribution oxide particles in determined by scanning electron microscopy transmission microscopy. exhibited excellent CV performance concentrations ranging 200 500 mg L . After 30 min, 96.87% removed optimal conditions such as pH 7, dose 0.5 mmol H concentration 300 degradation followed pseudo‐first‐order kinetic model, R close 0.99. catalytic activities were effectively retained after reaction cycles, indicating IOZX.
