ABSTRACT Lycopene (LYC) is an extremely powerful antioxidant with the potential to treat a range of diseases and inhibit ferroptosis. This research aims elucidate how LYC impacts polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) action mechanisms. A PCOS rat model was constructed by injecting DHEA. Salidroside is a traditional Chinese medicine with multiple pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, while acute kidney injury (AKI) common sepsis-induced inflammatory response.
