In 1992 the American College of Sports Medicine first described Female Athlete Triad. The Triad is a metabolic injury involving three distinct clinical traits: low energy availability, with possible eating disorder, bone mineral density and menstrual dysfunction (MD). Although estimated prevalence (1.2%), single factors are common in female athletes, at all competitive levels ages. Even though was over two decades ago, interrelation diagnostics components still debated: additional evidence required to improve multidisciplinary treatment approach for this complex condition. MD one signs impairment. present study aims investigating determinants predictors allow an early diagnosis implement adequate preventive strategies. An original structured questionnaire composed detect presence risk factors. Included participants were active athletes within reproductive age range (15-40 years old). Anthropometric parameters training-related factors, possibly affecting regularity cycle, investigated. Respondents 288 athletes. Among them, 73.3% under 25 age; 6.6% resulted underweight; 30.6% reported follow meal plan/diet 13.9% declared be smoker. Lean sports practiced by responders. Body-weight congruence detected 79.9% participants, whereas overestimation body image found 16.3% Irregular predictor, 33.0% 41.1% practicing some lean sport (p=0.007). Also, suggested increased irregularity (p=0.001). BMI <18.5 or >30 could also act as factor, although significance not fully obtained (p=0.053). Overall, practice appeared good (AOR 2.02 3.83, respectively). Menstrual can considered predictor MD: further reporting self-perceived image. Screenings awareness programs should specifically address because their vulnerable-group profile. order define standardized at-risk profile onset sequelae likelihood, evaluation especially considered, conjunction assessment other indicators availability (e.g. TEE, fat mass, BMC). Testing sport-derived stress disordered attitudes recommended. Preventive strategy involve proactive engagement clubs periodic medical assessment.

Previous research has identified maladaptive emotion regulation as a key factor in psychopathology. Thus, addressing via scalable, low-threshold digital interventions – such smartphone-based Cognitive Bias Modification (CBM) holds important therapeutic potential. Using randomized-controlled crossover trial, we tested the efficacy of an integrated CBM module within Affect Regulation Training (ART, i.e., CBM-ART) that targeted through elements appraisal-based and approach avoidance training. Undergraduate students reporting elevated stress were randomized to one-week active intervention (Mindgames; including psychoeducation, quiz, CBM-ART; n = 40), control training (Emo Shape; placebo swiping task; 36) or waitlist (n 25). Before after intervention, assessed regulation, interpretation bias, depression. We further post-training reactivity using anagram task. Results indicated improved negative (OR 0.35) positive 2.40) biases symptom measures (d 0.52–0.87). However, showed attenuated concurrent pre-post changes on (i.e., OR 0.53 for negative, 1.49 interpretations) 0.26–0.91). The was rated positively terms acceptability usability. These findings provide initial evidence app-based reducing psychopathological symptoms, stress. future studies should disentangle specific mechanisms underlying interventional effects.

Initial findings indicate the effectiveness of internet-based interventions for body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). In order to substantiate these findings, a seven-module guided intervention was created and examined. We report mixed data participants with clinical subclinical BDD treatment group (n = 18). investigated feasibility, quality program content, design usability, its effects on symptom severity related psychopathology. Adherence low dropout rate high (55.6%). The perceived website visual aesthetic were rated high. Credibility expectancy medium level. Satisfaction appearance improved significantly in intention-to-treat analysis (d 0.58). sum, symptom-related outcomes evaluation showed positive trend albeit study conduction difficult. Future programs should investigate role additional motivation strategies more flexible support addressing known barriers.

In the field of human–computer interaction, concept visual aesthetics gained popularity after researchers started to recognize its merits and effects on user experience. Yet, no proper instrument exists assess websites that are intended for users who speak Arabic as their native language. As such, aim this study was develop evaluate an version Visual Aesthetics Websites Inventory (VisAWI) short (VisAWI-S). For purpose, participants were asked a randomly assigned website with AR-VisAWI different validating instruments. A final sample 223 included in analyses. Confirmatory factory analysis showed acceptable fit good AR-VisAWI-S proposed structures. The reliability also excellent (Cronbach's α McDonald's Omega (ω) = .95) long ω total .89) version. Furthermore, pattern correlations convergent divergent measures supported high construct validity translated scales. Overall, our results first empirical demonstration VisAWI captures facets perceived can be reliably assessed Arabic-speaking world.
