With the proliferation of service-oriented architectures, ubiquity mobile networks, and an expanding spectrum services available to users, service selection process has become paramount in designing implementing contemporary applications. Service strategies networks involve choosing optimal from many options based on QoS (quality service), bandwidth, mobility, ultimately augmenting network efficiency user experience. Nonetheless, particular challenges can impact efficacy these strategies. This paper presents a comprehensive survey transitioning traditional approaches emerging techniques, while also introducing taxonomy classifying methods criteria including devices as providers, architectural perspectives, computing allocation, evaluation metrics, methods. Additionally, We offer insights into latest QoS-aware energy-centric methodologies, addressing related battery life energy efficiency, Quality (QoS), security privacy, well scalability resource management. we discuss prospective trajectories future direction.
