ABSTRACT The United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal 13 (“Climate Action”) aims to address the issues of global warming and climate change, primarily caused by greenhouse gas emissions. This study examines impacts financial technology, human development, economic growth, renewable energy consumption on environmental quality from 2013 2019 in African nations classified into different income groups. Using method moments quantile regression (MMQR) technique, results show that growth development (renewable technology) increase (decrease) carbon dioxide emissions long run. These imply absence sustainable practices, pursuing could degrade environment, while transitioning promoting fintech improve quality. makes five major scientific contributions terms research question (unique combination variables), sample (carbon emission‐financial technology nexus Africa), proxy for (“credit flows big tech companies GDP (%)”), MMQR estimation technique (for first time this context), comparative analysis based income‐group classification. recommends implementation frameworks, adoption green technologies, transition nonrenewable sources, widespread education awareness effects, encouragement solutions help countries attain reducing their footprints.
