Coupling coordination of digital village construction and high-quality agricultural development in China

This study aims to investigate the coupling coordination relationship between digital village construction and high-quality agricultural development in China, along with influencing factors, order provide policy recommendations for fostering concurrent advancement of these two domains. Utilizing degree model, spatial econometric model other methods, this paper analyzes panel data 31 provinces (municipalities autonomous regions) China spanning from 2011 2022. The key findings indicate following: Firstly, there has been an overall enhancement levels across all Chinese provinces, eastern region exhibiting a higher developmental status compared central western regions. Secondly, shown collective improvement, albeit variations among different regions; however, regional disparities are gradually narrowing. Housing Conditions and the Quality of Life of the Populations of the European Union Countries

Quality of life (QoL) as a category, which is an overarching goal sustainable development, dependent on many factors both objective and subjective, should be subjected to constant monitoring in various spatial, temporal thematic arrangements. This study assesses the spatial differentiation European Union countries terms QoL housing conditions (HCs) their populations. Interactions between studied phenomena were also determined. A multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method—the TOPSIS method—and Spearman rank correlation coefficients used achieve objectives this study. How Does the Growth of Digital Technology Influence Farmland Abandonment? Evidence from Rural China

Farmland abandonment has become a significant challenge in global agriculture, with the issue being particularly severe China. This phenomenon not only threatens food security but also contributes to various environmental problems. The rise of digital technology offers new opportunities address this pressing issue. study systematically analyzes impact on farmland from micro-level perspective, using nationwide survey 3409 households. A multi-dimensional indicator framework is developed, incorporating general technology, information exchange, and functionality. Empirical models, including IV-Probit 2SLS, were employed analyze data. results show that plays role reducing by increasing farmers’ income levels encouraging adoption agricultural production services. Specifically, use tools enhances income, which turn strengthens their willingness continue farming. Moreover, it facilitates access services, lowering costs improving land-use efficiency. finds varies depending factors such as terrain, urban-rural divides, farmer types. suppressive effect more pronounced non-plain areas, non-suburban regions, among full-time or part-time farmers. A Study on the Spatio-Temporal Evolution of Digital Rural Development and Farmers' Affluence Levels and Their Coupling Coordination

As a critical component of the Digital China initiative, construction digital villages plays pivotal role in rural modernization and significantly influences prosperity residents. This study, grounded 2023 Opinions Central Committee Communist Party State Council on Promoting Comprehensive Rural Revitalization, establishes an evaluation index system for assessing residents' living standards from three dimensions: subsistence, social security, quality life. Utilizing entropy weight method TOPSIS approach, this research examines evolution trends analyzes coupling coordination between village these standards. The findings indicate that while China's level remains its early stages, it has demonstrated robust growth momentum. Although absolute disparity among provinces is widening, relative gap narrowing, suggesting initial signs coordinated regional development. Additionally, shown steady upward trend with significant spatial agglomeration effects good levels. However, characterized by "high east low west, high south north" persists.
