Proteomic analysis of spinal dorsal horn in prior exercise protection against neuropathic pain

Neuropathic
pain
(NP)
is
a
complex
and
prevalent
chronic
condition
that
affects
millions
of
individuals
worldwide.
Previous
studies
have
shown
prior
exercise
protects
against
NP
caused
by
nerve
injury.
However,
the
underlying
mechanisms
this
protective
effect
remain
to
be
uncovered.
Therefore,
purpose
study
investigate
how
protein
expression
in
model
rats
thus
gain
comprehensive
insights
into
molecular
involved.
To
achieve
objective,
6-week-old
male
Sprague–Dawley
were
randomly
assigned
three
groups,
named
as
constriction
injury
(CCI)
sciatic
nerve,
CCI
with
6-week
swimming
training
(CCI_Ex),
sham
operated
(Sham).

CCI_Ex
group
underwent

weeks
before
surgery,

groups
had
no
intervention.
