Analyzing multi-sample spatial transcriptomics data requires accounting for biological variation. We present non-negative factorization (mNSF), an alignment-free framework extending single-sample (NSF) to datasets. mNSF incorporates sample-specific correlation modeling and extracts low-dimensional representations. Through simulations real analysis, we demonstrate mNSF's efficacy in identifying true factors, shared anatomical regions, region-specific functions. performance is comparable alignment-based methods when alignment feasible, while enabling analysis scenarios where unfeasible. shows promise as a robust method analyzing spatially resolved across multiple samples.

Neuropathic pain (NP) is a complex and prevalent chronic condition that affects millions of individuals worldwide. Previous studies have shown prior exercise protects against NP caused by nerve injury. However, the underlying mechanisms this protective effect remain to be uncovered. Therefore, purpose study investigate how protein expression in model rats thus gain comprehensive insights into molecular involved. To achieve objective, 6-week-old male Sprague–Dawley were randomly assigned three groups, named as constriction injury (CCI) sciatic nerve, CCI with 6-week swimming training (CCI_Ex), sham operated (Sham). The CCI_Ex group underwent 6 weeks before surgery, while groups had no intervention. Mechanical withdrawal threshold (MWT) thermal latency (TWL) used main observation indicators evaluate behavioral changes associated pain. Tissues from spinal dorsal horn collected at 4 after operation. Neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) represent a large group of with an onset in the neonatal or early childhood period; NDDs include intellectual disability (ID), autism spectrum (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), seizures, various motor disabilities and abnormal muscle tone. Among many underlying Mendelian genetic causes for these conditions, genes coding proteins involved all aspects gene expression pathway, ranging from transcription, splicing, translation to eventual RNA decay, feature rather prominently.
