Abstract Time‐delayed systems frequently appear, especially in sectors such as fluid flow processes, chemical procedures, and the food industry. This paper addresses optimization of parameters for a fractional order PID (FOPID) controller, which is used to control time‐delayed system, using five distinct algorithms inspired by nature. These are NewBAT, Cuckoo search (CS), Firefly (FF), Gray Wolf Optimizer (GWO), Whale algorithm (WOA). The FOPID controller parameters, namely K P , I D λ μ have been optimized these algorithms. During process, integral time absolute error (ITAE) was considered primary measurement criterion. In addition this value, maximum overshoot, settling time, reach values were examined. Simulations conducted with obtained tested system's resilience disturbances introduced at output, responses also evaluated during tests. reactions determined different reference inputs analyzed, results presented graphs tables. efficiency reliability substantiated comprehensive statistical analyses. analyses play critical role selection objective evaluation results. In order to improve the accuracy of concrete dynamic principal identification, a identification model based on Improved Dung Beetle Algorithm (IDBO) optimized Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network is proposed. Firstly, apparent stress-strain curves containing damage evolution were measured by Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) test decouple and separate rheology, this system was modeled using LSTM network. Secondly, for problem low convergence easy fall into local optimum (DBO), greedy lens imaging reverse learning initialization population strategy, embedded curve adaptive weighting factor PID control optimal solution perturbation strategy are introduced, superiority IDBO algorithm proved through comparison optimization with DBO, Harris Hawk Optimization Algorithm, Gray Wolf Fruit Fly combination built construct IDBO-LSTM homeostasis model. The final results show that can recognize material without considering damage; in case damage, prediction basically match SHPB curves, which proves feasibility excellence proposed method.

The optimal structural design is imperative to minimize material consumption and reduce the environmental impact of construction. Given complexity in formulation problems, process optimization commonly performed using artificial intelligence (AI) global optimization, such as Genetic Algorithm (GA). However, integration AI-based together with visual programming (VP) building information modeling (BIM) projects warrants further investigation. This study proposes a workflow by combining structure analysis, VP, BIM, GA optimize trusses. methodology encompasses several steps including: (i) generation parametric trusses Dynamo VP; (ii) performing finite element (FEM) Robot Structural Analysis (RSA); (iii) retrieving evaluating FEM results interchangeably between RSA; (iv) finding best solution GA; (v) importing optimized model into Revit, enabling user perform simulations engineering life cycle assessment (LCA) quantity surveying. feasibility proposed was tested on benchmark problems compared open literature. outcomes this offer insight opportunities limitations GA, FEA, BIM for applications, particularly enhance efficiency sustainability
