This paper aims to support stakeholders in the sustainable construction sector by exploring potential of unexamined aggregates from five distinct origins: Jandol River, Swat Panjkorha Kitkot Drain, and Shavey Drain situated Malakand division, North Waziristan, Pakistan, concerning Alkali–Silica Reaction (ASR) prior their incorporation into large-scale practices. Petrographic examination for determination mineralogical composition all collected revealed that stemming Panjkorh exhibited no reactive minerals. In contrast, those River showed mineral content. Physical analysis had superior resistance impact, crushing, abrasion, having values 18.53%, 20.10%, respectively. Moreover, chemical highest silica content (SiO2) aggregates, i.e., 94.7%, Samples form cubes, prisms, mortar bars were prepared study both mechanical properties expansion tendencies specimens different aggregate sources. Validation nature was corroborated results obtained reduction compressive strength flexure 8.2% 9.2%, respectively, after 90 days, higher than exposed ASR sourced other four origins. To mitigate ASR, various strategies, such using low reactivity, natural, or processed aggregates; alkali-containing cement; inducing pozzolanic substances concrete; etc., recommended. Simultaneously, an economic feasibility environmental assessments recommended future developments.

This study comprehensively examines the impact of various tensile and shear reinforcement arrangements on ultimate capacity failure mode reinforced concrete (RC) beams. encompasses theoretical, experimental, numerical approaches.
