Abstract Introduction Based on the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS), this study aimed to examine prevalence and correlates of depression, its network structure association with quality life (QOL) in older adults hypertension. Methods Depression QOL were measured using 10‐item Center for Epidemiologic Studies Short Scale (CESD‐10) World Health Organization Quality Life‐brief version, respectively. Univariable multivariable analyses performed. Network analysis was used explore interconnections between depressive symptoms. The flow function identify symptoms that directly associated QOL. Results A total 5032 hypertension included. depression (CESD‐10 score ≥ 10) 28.3% (95% confidence interval: 27.08%–29.59%), which significantly poor ( P < 0.001). Depression and anxiety are prevalent psychological challenges among patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), affecting individuals across both sex age groups. To explore the network structure of depression symptoms, a focus on identifying differences at symptom level between subgroups. A total 1955 participants diagnosed AIS aged 10-18 years were assessed using Patient Health Questionnaire Scale (PHO-9) Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7), 765 exhibiting PHQ-9 or GAD-7 scores ≥ 5 enrolled in our study. Network analysis comparison tests utilized to construct compare depression-anxiety symptoms networks The results revealed GAD3 "Excessive worry" PHQ2 "Sad mood" most significant central all subgroups, while had higher strength than lower group. In comparisons, female exhibited tighter connectivity, especially GAD6 "Irritability" GAD2 "Uncontrollable worry", only PHQ3 "Sleep" PHQ9 "Suicidal ideation" local Several interventions targeting excessive worry sad mood could reduce risk population. Furthermore, specific females, along sleep disturbances suicidal ideation group, should be addressed an early stage prevent disruptions mental health trajectories.

Introduction Anxiety is highly prevalent among older adults, and dietary interventions targeting nutrition may offer effective, practical strategies for preventing mental disorders. This study aimed to explore the association between cMIND diet, anti-inflammatory diversity (AIDD), risk of anxiety in adults. Methods A cross-sectional analysis was conducted using data from 2018 Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS). symptoms were assessed Generalized Disorder (GAD-7) scale, while adherence diet AIDD evaluated through a food frequency questionnaire. Univariable multivariable logistic regression analyses performed examine associations patterns risk, with odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) reported. Random forest used identify key factors influencing anxiety, sensitivity test robustness results. Results total 13,815 participants aged 65 included, 1,550 (11.2%) identified anxiety. Multivariable models indicated that or higher associated 16–26% reduced adjusted ORs (95% CIs) ranging 0.75 (0.64–0.87) (0.61–0.91), 0.74 (0.62–0.88) 0.84 (0.73–0.96). Sensitivity confirmed stability these findings. Depression sleep quality as most important contributing one few modifiable factors. Conclusion provides evidence supporting highlighting potential promoting healthy targeted nutritional effective improving health aging population.

Implementing effective interventions for specific depressive symptoms is of vital importance to reduce the disease burden depression. Previous studies have identified links between various dietary patterns and depression among elderly individuals. However, associations food consumption remained largely unknown. We included 5171 individuals living in rural aged above 65 from Chinese Longitudinal Health Longevity Survey (CLHLS 2017-2018). used 10-item short form Center Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CESD-10) assess selected 4 common foods intake. Univariate analysis multifactorial were identify influencing factors Network was central bridge network. Finally, network stability examined by a case-dropping bootstrap procedure. Regression model showed vegetable intake, fish egg intake associated with revealed that nodes "Feeling sad or depressed" (A3) nervous fearful" (A6) "Vegetables consumption" (B2), "Eggs (B4), "Sleep quality" (A10) Recall bias introduced self-report questionnaire use cross-sectional data. Central symptoms, as well played critical role Timely, systematic, multi-level targeting on may benefit alleviating elderly.

Depression and anxiety were not only common but also with serious consequence in infertility patients. The current study endeavors to define distinct depression profiles of patients identify central symptoms within different facilitate targeted interventions. research employed K-means Clustering delineate the profiles, followed by a repetition analysis using Latent Class Analysis (LCA). Furthermore, network was utilized various profiles. K‑means identified Cluster 1 (16.15%), 2 (37.08%) 3 (46.77%), while LCA yielded low-risk group (47.23%), mild-risk (34.46%) high-risk (18.31%). A majority three clusters predominantly single LCA-derived patient class (88.38–100%). Network revealed that connections each symptom PHQ-9 GAD-7 stronger than those between symptoms. PHQ ("sad mood"), GAD ("nervousness") ("uncontrollable worry") as ("excessive worry"), 5 ("restlessness") emerged 2) Additionally, 4 ("fatigue"), 6 ("irritability") 3. We defined among pinpointed profile. These findings underscore importance directing towards profile order develop intervention strategies.
