Data show that the detection rate of anxiety symptoms among college students has risen from 16.6 to 34.8% over past 10 years, and are gradually becoming a high prevalence group for symptoms. This study aims investigate relationship between physical activity, behavioral inhibition activation, in students. Specifically, it seeks identify mediating role individual subcomponents activation association activity symptoms. A total 5125 were recruited participate study. Participants completed Physical Activity Rating Scale-3, Behavioral Inhibition/Activation System Scale, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) scale. ANOVA, linear regression analysis structural equation modelling used analyse data each variable (physical symptoms, BIS/BAS) analysed. Anxious demonstrated significantly lower scores reward responsiveness, drive, fun seeking, while exhibiting higher inhibition. Additionally, these engaged at intensities, shorter times, with reduced frequency, overall less exercise (all p < 0.001). Furthermore, significant negative correlation was observed levels (r= − 0.145, 0.001), weak identified system 0.020, = 0.156). Conversely, positively correlated responsiveness (r 0.062, drive 0.122, seeking 0.067, inhibition, predictors university Among male students, intensity (Beta= 0.088, 0.001) 0.255, showed strongest correlations levels, female time (Beta 0.084, 0.291, most highly correlated. had direct effect 84.37% on reducing 0.286, 15.63% mediated by 0.053, The effects stronger females (29.92%, Beta= 0.076, compared males (15.76%, 0.061, Factor loadings indicated (male: 1.81, female: 2.71) 1.01, 1.04) more effective alleviating particularly dimensions uncontrollable worrying (1.07), worry too much (1.03), trouble relaxing (1.00), nervousness (1.00). exerts influence anxiety, its anxiolytic partially system. Background: University students are a vulnerable population prone to mental health challenges. This study aimed investigate depression and its associated factors among university in terms of demographics, eating habits, exercises. Methods: A total 2891 from three universities participated this between January 2024 February 2024. An online survey questionnaire was distributed using snow-ball strategy. The collected demographic, lifestyle, psychological data, including anxiety scores the PHQ-9 GAD-7 screening tools. Subgroup analysis conducted according sport frequency type Chi-square test for qualitative data t -test quantitative data. Multiple linear regression performed identify risk depression. Results: 44.2% 39.5% participants reported symptoms anxiety, respectively. Significant differences were observed various characteristics across different groups, with higher tending have less (P< 0.001) symptoms. As weekly exercise increased, gradually decreased. mean highest group no sports lowest 3– 4 times per week 0.001). Additionally, once reached 5 or more, longer based on revealed that engaging specific sports, such as basketball, tennis, dance, running, had lower compared overall average. Based multiple analysis, married status (P=0.036), enjoying barbecue food 0.001), prolonged sedentary time (P=0.001), experiencing stress events electronic device usage positively scores, while loving vegetables (P=0.007), relatively (P=0.005), (P=0.064), chronic disease negatively scores. Conclusion: highlights importance healthy regular exercise, limited exposure screens, balanced diet, preventing mitigating students. also suggests exercising is levels Activities running effective alleviating these issues through exercise. Abstract Introduction The efficacy of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is highly dependent on adherence, and adherence behavior influenced by motivation. aim this study was to explore the longitudinal relationship between PrEP motivation change in among men who have sex with (MSM) Western China. Methods From November 2019 June 2021, we conducted a prospective cohort study. Motivation take medicine measured Scale at baseline, grouped into different levels latent categories Latent Profile Analysis (LPA). A multinomial logistic regression model used (improvement, decline, no change) Results MSM were divided two motivation, “high group” ( n = 506, 69.89%) “low 218, 30.11%). High had significant effect short-term however, it contributed improvement long-term [odds ratio (OR) 3.028 (1.100–8.332), p 0.031]. predictive power significantly enhanced addition factor. Conclusions There positive correlation high baseline an adherence. Surveillance intervention can increase their then promote efficacy.
