Quantitative research on vigour as a therapeutically responsive marker of positive mental health, has become possible by virtue the validation Vigour Assessment Scale (VAS). Considering that its and therapeutic responsiveness were examined in an avolitional schizophrenia population, using VAS outside these constraints requires psychometric properties be investigated more general non-clinical population.
