The present study reveals in vitro antioxidant properties and the phytochemical content of a novel Rheum species (Rheum telianum), which grows Southeastern Anatolia. To perform analysis, dried leaves seeds plants were ground extracted with ethanol to obtain plant secondary metabolites activity. Then, extracts subjected DPPH scavenging Cupric reducing (CUPRAC), Fe3+, Ferric power (FRAP). In addition capacity assays, quantitative phenolic, flavonoid, metabolite determined through spectrophotometric LC-MS/MS chromatographic methods. IC50 values showed that both R. telianum have high inhibitory over radicals 20.79 5.67 μg/mL, respectively. samples' dominant evaluated analysis results. inhibition effects on acetylcholinesterase butyrylcholinesterase, α-glycosidase human carbonic anhydrases II isoenzyme enzymes, associated some global diseases including Alzheimer's disease, type-2 diabetes mellitus glaucoma determined. conclusion, extracts' contents functional relationship plants' possible usage food, medicine, cosmetic industries was revealed.

Abstract This study presents a novel, zero‐waste process for producing copper nanoparticles (CuNPs), activated carbons (ACs), and oil extract (OE) from plant Erigeron canadensis L. in Sp. Pl.: 863 (1753). method optimizes resource utilization eliminates waste, offering sustainable approach to green synthesis. The NPs were characterized using XRD, SEM, FTIR. Their effectiveness was evaluated through comparative studies on methylene blue removal, antioxidant capacity, antibacterial activity. prepared OE exhibited superior properties, particularly against Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp . ATCC 13883 (inhibition zone: 19 ± 0 mm) Proteus vulgaris RSKK 96029 18.7 0.6 mm). AC demonstrated exceptional dye adsorption efficiency, ranging 98.62% 99.50%. Antioxidant tests revealed that CuNPs possessed strong with an IC 50 of 0.023 0.002 mg/mL the DPPH radical scavenging test 0.41 0.07 iron chelation test. lower capacity (0.43 0.01) but significant iron‐chelating ability (41.94 1.06). In comparison, standard antioxidants EDTA BHT showed their respective tests. These experimental findings underscore potential this bio zero‐waste‐derived products environmental biomedical applications, highlighting its broad applicability.

The current study focuses on the comprehensive evaluation of phytochemical and physicochemical properties Bauhinia racemosa (B. racemosa) leaves, a plant widely used in traditional medicine across Asia. Fresh leaves were collected, authenticated, air-dried, powdered before undergoing Soxhlet extraction with solvents such as acetone, water, chloroform, dichloromethane, ethanol, ethyl acetate, petroleum ether. Physicochemical parameters — including ash values, extractive moisture content, potential hydrogen (pH) measured to ensure quality stability. Qualitative screening revealed presence bioactive compounds, carbohydrates, proteins, glycosides, steroids, flavonoids, tannins, phenolic known for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial properties. Notably, identification flavonoids compounds underscores plant’s managing oxidative stress related health conditions. We establish foundational profile B. contributing standardization supporting medicinal value applications herbal pharmaceutical development.
