Abstract Preventing the recombination of photoinduced charge carriers in different semiconductor photocatalysts is crucial but high‐performance photocatalyst still challenging. Herein, we report synthesis a novel heterojunction cobalt‐doped hydroxyapatite with CuWO 4 i. e. Co‐HAp@CuWO nanocomposite by simple and facile ultrasonication technique. The morphological structural features composite was examined using PXRD, FTIR, SEM, EDS, TEM, UV‐DRS XPS techniques. optical analysis showed that band gap Co‐HAp@CuWO4 1.59 eV which very much lower than pure HAp. photocatalytic efficiency assessed degradation Eosin Y dye under solar light irradiation. result capacity 94.5 % after 70 minutes irradiation it follows pseudo first‐order kinetics. impact reaction parameters such as catalyst amount, initial concentration dye, solution pH also examined. recyclability test synthesized material highly stable visible‐light driven degradation. Heterogeneous catalytic efficacy prepared crossed aldol condensation benzaldehyde acetone outcomes confirmed dibenzylideneacetone (DBA) formed outstanding yields optimum conditions.

BiOX (X = Cl, Br, I) families are a kind of new type photocatalysts, which have attracted the attention more and researchers. The suitable band gaps their convenient tunability via change X elements enable to adapt many photocatalytic reactions. Therefore, could usually demonstrate fine activity in this review, we will present various applications modification strategies Finally, based on good understanding above issues, propose future directions feasibilities reasonable design obtain better toward applications.
