A ternary Bi2O2CO3/Bi/BiOCl Z-scheme heterostructure with ordered flower-like structure was synthesized by controlling KCl content using a facile solvothermal technique, and the photodegradation performance of RhB investigated in detail. The photocatalytic results suggested that manifested an attractive rate 99.20% removal efficiency within 20 min irrigation. main reason credited to SPR effect metallic Bi construction heterojunction, endowing enhanced adsorption ability visible light, long lifetime charge carriers, fast interfacial electron flow. Furthermore, degradation pathways towards were also elaborated via LC–MS. possible mechanism explored combining radicals quench experiments, ESR tests energy band structures. study will supply potential candidate for remediation natural wastewater.
