Study purpose. Swimming experienced significant growth and achievement in the late twentieth century early second millennium, marked by creation of advanced records. This progress is due to rigorous training, practical experience, utilization modern scientific techniques applied sciences such as biomechanics. study aims evaluate several bio-kinematic variables, physical measurements, completion times 25-meter freestyle swimming. Materials methods. Researchers used a descriptive approach suit nature research. The research sample consisted 6 swimmers Nineveh Governorate applicant category. There was digital camera with speed 60 images/second. Results. positive correlation between anthropometric variable (arm length) total time. researchers attribute this fact that length distance one stroke swimming (25) meters depends primarily on arm thus, which will lead covering shortest possible time, given part stroke. Conclusion. concluded variables studied played very important role achieving best performance, even though performance generally poor. large number strokes led an increase frequency at expense decreasing average strokes, thereby increasing

Background and purpose The aim of this study is to incorporte machine learning techniques in physical education activities assessment so we can plan a training session cycle based on predictive analyses using algorithms. Material methods A dataset represent the collection tests (as Harvard test, Vertical Horizontal Trigger) performance 600 m, 1000 12 min cooper) students secondary high school, aged between 15 20 years old (mean:16,21, SD:0,92), during 2021-2022 scholar year project predicted results following cycles 2022-2023. We used Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio obtain best model R2 score as an evaluating metric. Results Even if focus one metric test target) with numeric values article, were promising compared both athletic performances, where noticed some have exceeded expected reach. And analysis unveiled more important features impacting for test. Abstract Sprint performance is a priority for coaches and athletes. Several kinematic variables, including horizontal touchdown distance (HTD) inter-knee (IKTD), are targeted by to increase top sprinting speed. However, the results of past research conflicting, potentially due use experimental inter-athlete study designs where it not possible establish cause-effect relationships. In this study, we used predictive simulation approach assess relationships between HTD IKTD We scaled three-dimensional musculoskeletal model match anthropometry an international caliber male sprinter, generated simulations single symmetric step top-speed using direct collocation optimal control framework. first our framework model’s speed with minimal constraints on kinematics (the simulation). Simulation models have been applied to analyze daily living activities and some sports movements. However, it is unknown whether the current upper extremity musculoskeletal can be utilized for investigating cue movements generate corresponding kinematic muscle activation profiles. This study aimed test feasibility of applying simulation investigate players' cueing with OpenSim. Preliminary forces would calculated once model validated.A previously customized validated unimanual six degrees freedom at scapula, shoulder, elbow, wrist, as well muscles was used in this study. Two types were simulated: (1) back spin shot, (2) 9-ball break shot. Firstly, data joints collected a 3D motion capture system. Using experimental marker trajectories shot on 10 male players, executed. The then by comparing model-generated joint angles against results using statistical parametric mapping (SPM1D) examine entire angle-time waveform t-tests compare discrete variables (e.g., range motion). Secondly, run electromyographic (EMG) two players inputs. A model-estimated calculation performed accordingly muscles. The OpenSim-generated corresponded while outputs shoulder deviated from data. discrepancy could due insufficient inputs joint. In simulation, preliminary findings suggested that great primarily contribute forward swing suggests strengthening may viable strategy improve performance. It feasible cater modeling OpenSim biomechanical investigations sports.
