Over the last decade, waste management and prevention have become important in transition towards a circular economy (CE). This study explores how voluntary environmental policies, adopted at regional level, contribute to green from perspective of CE. By considering general region-specific trends certifications, we perform two-step analysis on panel 20 Italian regions between 2015 2019: first step extrapolates relative efficiency by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), while second terms productivity changes supported Malmquist Productivity (MPA). The DEA results show an overall rising trend among regions, MPA. Furthermore, they reveal that technological innovation contributes greater socio-economic systems which are characterized 'environmental federalism'. From decision-making perspective, this suggests measures such as incentivization policies should be proposed promote techno-organizations' CE, coherence with economic/industrial specializations strategies, possibly based diversified policy mix, setting knowledge-based framework budgetary actions level.

ABSTRACT In today's business environment, sustainable marketing has become an essential component for small and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs) aiming to enhance productivity maintain competitiveness. However, there is a gap in research regarding the critical factors that contribute success of importance interconnections these from experts' perspectives. Thus, this study aims provide comprehensive understanding complex relationships among contributing strategies within manufacturing companies. This extracted 19 crucial Malaysian SMEs literature thoughtfully categorized them into technology, organization, human, social groups. Data was gathered 26 experts SME using questionnaire. The decision‐making trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method employed identify significant reveal cause‐and‐effect them. findings showed perceived benefits, strategy, natural resources protection, IT knowledge expertise, customer demands were groups, respectively.
