Based on the need for green synthesis, photocatalytic oxidation reactions under ambient conditions are vitally significant. Herein, we developed six new quinolinium-grafted polyoxometalate (Q-POM) structures and explored their ability in aerobic of benzyl alcohol-like compounds. Among them, (Bu4N)2+{AlMo6O18[(OCH2)3CCH3][(OCH2)3CNHCOCH2C9H7N]}2– (TBA-Q-Al) can achieve one-step various alcohols to corresponding benzoic acid compounds with favorable yields blue light irradiation at 420–430 nm accompanied by oxygen as sole oxidant. The photocatalyst combines quinolinium π–π conjugation respond property POM backbone storage-transfer electrons. This work provides guidance subsequent development more efficient conversions.

Greenhouse gas anthropogenic emissions have triggered global warming with increasingly alarming consequences, motivating the development of carbon-free energy systems. Phenols are pivotal precursors and core motifs for various fine chemicals, bioactive molecules, functional materials, among which the site-selective syntheses of ortho-substituted phenols very attractive challenging. Here, we present a palladium-catalyzed dehydrogenation–coupling–aromatization protocol to access from cyclohexanols with primary alcohols. Broad substrate scope was achieved in this modular water hydrogen gas as clean byproducts. This work demonstrates the synthesis of a series Ru(II) complexes with dibenzimidazole-based ligands and investigates spatial relationship between ligand structure complexes. The development of efficient and recyclable heterogeneous catalysts is an important topic. Herein, a rhodium(III) complex Cp*Rh@HATN-CTF was synthesized by the coordinative immobilization [Cp*RhCl2]2 on hexaazatrinaphthalene-based covalent triazine framework. In presence (1 mo l% Rh), series primary amines could be obtained via reductive amination ketones in high yields. Moreover, catalytic activity well maintained during six runs. present system also applied for large scale preparation biologically active compound. It would facilitate CTF-supported transition metal sustainable chemistry.
