Our study examines the relationship between self-compassion, other-compassion, and romantic attraction in couples, questions psychological homogeneity assumption—the idea that responses are uniform across individuals couples. We analyzed data from 161 participants 84 with an average age 32 (SD = 12.02), using smartphones for event sampling six times daily over a week to measure attraction. Through within-person network analysis, we discovered significant variability how self other-compassion influence attraction, identifying two distinct couple types: "synergistic," where compassion significantly affects "independent," it does not. Further analysis revealed that, when is accounted for, males high self-compassion were less attracted their female partners. The diversity couples experience challenges assumption conclusions drawn group averages can be universally applied individual Clinically this means efforts enhance therapy should tailored couple's unique dynamics. Indeed, some men, emphasizing without considering could even detrimental relationship. findings highlight need nuanced case formulation personalized treatment planning therapy, underscoring complexity of dynamics importance rejecting "one size fits all" assumptions.

Background and Objectives: Defined by chronic pain, rheumatic diseases are often co-occurring with anxiety depression. Among the available psychological interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapies have an already-proven efficiency in these cases. However, need to adjust their structure became ubiquitous during post-pandemic period. Hence, objective of this study was investigate impact a single-session, process-based intervention for patients conditions within in-patient setting. Materials Methods: A total 31 participants (mean age 58.9 years) completed single-session intervention. Assessments were conducted prior intervention, post-intervention after one month. Results: Pearson’s correlations, paired samples T tests covariance analysis based on Linear Mixed Model performed exploring relations between baseline variables evaluating SSI Immediately significant reduction cognitive fusion (p = 0.001, d 1.78), experiential avoidance 1.4) dysfunctional behavioral processes observed. At one-month evaluation, reported decreased pain 1.11), 0.004, 0.55) depression 0.72). Conclusions: The approach represents promising healthcare contexts, as integrative part multimodal rehabilitation treatment conditions.

Introduction Despite the negative effects of stigma in individuals with skin conditions, interventions to address its are rare. This might be part due a continued lack understanding as how respond stigma. Methods In this study, we employed step-case analytic method, using traditional regression, moderation, and network analyses, examine role psychological flexibility (PF) stigmatized experiences, stigma-related outcomes. We run cross-sectional study ( n = 105 various conditions) analyzed variables. included variables examining perceived stigmatization (PSQ), anxiety (GAD-7), depression (PHQ-9), well-being (EQ5D5L), stemming from PF model (CompACT), presented three coping responses, namely “open,” “aware,” “active.”. Results Using analysis, most influential or central that contributed were generalized anxiety, stigmatization, valued actions. relation PF, being open experience (as opposed avoidance), keeping distance thoughts self-stigmatizing), bringing attention value-based committed actions passivity) all found contribute less experiences. Discussion The results indicate two skills (“open” “active”) may important targets for targeting people living conditions.
