Abstract Considerable research has focused on how supply chains can better handle disruptions. Consequently, concepts such as chain robustness and engineering resilience have emerged, with the dominant emphasis being that disruptions are a wholly bad thing to be avoided or resisted. However, recent discourse in disruption management literature, social–ecological interpretation of resilience, suggests positioned more positively potential catalysts for growth. Yet little is known about capabilities required grow following disruption. The emerging concept antifragility focuses specifically growth, providing an arrowhead investigating what enables firms Utilizing metaphorical transfer method, this translates individuals—those who psychologically emotionally after experiencing trauma—into enhance antifragility. Five key building identified: mindfulness, transformative learning, plasticity, bricolage, collaboration. Background: Digital and smart supply chains are reforming the food chain to help eliminate waste, improve safety, reduce possibility of a global catastrophe. The globe currently faces numerous food-related issues, ranging from lack biodiversity excessive ill health caused by consumption widespread insecurity. Consumers increasingly prefer more direct and transparent food distribution channels, such as short supply chains (SFSCs). This research aims to examine how consumers' consumption behaviors change in response food supply chain disruptions and security crisis during COVID-19. Abstract Finding a food system to feed the growing worldwide population remains challenge, especially in current era, where natural resources are being dramatically depleted. From historical point of view, Green Revolution, together with biofortification and sustainable intensification, was established as possible solution counter hunger malnutrition during second half 20th century.
