Purpose Industries have been the most significant contributor to carbon emissions since beginning of Industrial Revolution. The transition Industry 5.0 (I5.0) marks a pivotal moment in industrial revolution, which aims reconcile productivity with environmental responsibility. As concerns about decline quality increase and demand for sustainable methods intensifies, experts recognize shift toward I5.0 as crucial turning point. Design/methodology/approach This review study explores convergence green technological advancements evolving landscape I5.0, thereby presenting roadmap neutrality. Through an extensive analysis literature spanning from 2012 2024, sourced Scopus database, research unravels transformative potential innovations, artificial intelligence, supply chain management metaverse. Findings findings underscore urgent imperative integrating technologies into fabric highlighting opportunities challenges inherent this endeavor. Furthermore, provides insights tailored policymakers, regulators, researchers stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making carbon-neutral future. Originality/value serves call action, urging collective efforts harness innovation betterment industry environment.

Sustainability is one of the fastest-growing research areas globally. Irrespective industry and economic activity, it need day. This study examines impact green process innovation production on sustainability in Pakistan India’s cement plastic manufacturing industries. Agriculture is of great importance in all societies, serving as the fundamental basis for producing food and ensuring survival human populations. The process agricultural production associated logistical elements face numerous difficulties, which are further intensified by worldwide water scarcity resulting from climate change. Nevertheless, existing body literature has not sufficiently addressed consequences on agri-food supply chains. To bridge this research gap contribute to mitigating global crisis induced change, study proposes a hybrid model that combines optimized neural networks based meta-heuristic algorithms mathematical optimization sustainable chain. proposed integrates particle swarm (PSO) feature selection convolutional network (CNN)-gated recurrent unit (GRU) with genetic algorithm (GA) structure predict consumption. Leveraging model's results, multi-objective agriculture chain developed optimize profitability while simultaneously addressing environmental pollutants, waste, usage, manufacturing costs time. evaluate effectiveness approach, real case Iran employed, providing both theoretical practical insights into design incorporates sustainability factors effectively tackles growing challenge scarcity. findings hold implications managers policymakers countries where growing.
