ABSTRACT The deteriorating impact of traditional linear model on agriculture productivity and ecology has drawn a serious emphasis the espousal circular economy ( CE ) practices in sector. Accordingly, an increasing number startups operating principles are emerging sector to create value from agri‐waste. In this research, we aim investigate challenges faced by these agri waste‐to‐value (WTV) startups, which is currently missing extant literature. process, have used lens extended institutional theory (EIT) identify understand WTV stakeholder (ST) propose strategies for overcoming obstacles. An innovative integrated based probabilistic linguistic term sets (PLTS), evidential reasoning algorithm (ERA), aggregated‐ranking considering psychological preferences decision makers developed examine challenges. This one initial studies comprehensively explore framework overcome EIT ST. A multidimensional analysis performed consider economic, operational, socio‐environmental implications Different analyses conducted better understanding about maturity stage specific startups. findings reveal that coercive pose most critical threat policy restructuring urgently required support Further, operational related raw materials infrastructure appear be more waste‐to‐material whereas waste‐to‐energy struggling due technological issues.

Pollution generated by the misuse of large amounts fruit and vegetable waste has become a major environmental social problem for developing countries due to absence specialized collection centers this type waste. This research aims generate electricity in an eco-friendly way using red dragon (pitahaya) as fuel single-chamber microbial cells on laboratory scale zinc copper electrodes. It was possible voltage current peaks 0.46 ± 0.03 V 2.86 0.07 mA, respectively, with optimum operating pH 4.22 0.09 electrical conductivity 175.86 4.72 mS/cm at 8 °Brix until tenth day monitoring. An internal resistance 75.58 5.89 Ω also calculated maximum power density 304.33 16.51 mW/cm2 5.06 A/cm2, while FTIR spectra showed decrease initial compounds endings, especially 3331 cm−1 O–H bonds. Finally, yeast-like fungus Geotrichum candidum molecularly identified (99.59%). will provide great opportunities generation renewable energy biomass through electronic devices potential electricity.

This study assesses the mechanical properties of mortars incorporating waste paper sludge-derived cellulose fibers. Compression and flexural tests were carried out on specimens prepared with fibers at different proportions, ranging from 0% to 2% total weight solid mortar constituents (cement, sand, lime). In addition, a comparative analysis was evaluate influence preparation method mortars. To this end, two series studied: one following rigorous control parameters other made without systematic parameter simulate typical on-site conditions. Finally, applicability both traditional eco-friendly in construction small-scale masonry walls assessed through compression tests. Overall, comparable those material, regardless production process. Regarding compressive behavior walls, experimental showed significant similarities between mortar. conclusion, into cement-based shows considerable potential for building applications, enhancing environmental benefits compromising behavior.
