Aerobic composting is an efficient method to treat animal manure, but comparative study in terms of between human feces with herbivore manure was very limited. The objective this explore the differences performance, microbial communities as well its metabolic functions (HF) and cattle (CM) using physicochemical analysis, 16S rRNA sequencing PICRUSt function prediction. results showed that HF treatment did not meet compost maturity standard. Compared CM treatment, had lower humus content humic acid/fulvic acid ratio at end composting, indicating humification degree under same conditions. This because relative abundance Actinobacteria Proteobacteria treated than during process. In addition, analysis revealed less abundant genes related metabolism, especially Valine, leucine isoleucine biosynthesis C5-Branched dibasic which were dominant pathways belonging amino carbohydrate respectively. Therefore, considering excellent performance it recommended add some into raw materials composting. could provide valuable reference for harmless resource utilization manure.
